I have been shopping as well. If you are buying new. The BassPro Tracker 800 SX seems to be well built and is very quite. It has a 3 cylinder engine which is why it is so quiet. I test drove one at the dealership in Sylacauga. I asked the salesman to drop me off and drive around the lot so I could hear how quite is was. Could not hear it until it got very close. Only thing is I worry about the long term service on them. Not sure about basspro service dept. or when they will decide to discontinue and build something else. The safest bet is to probably buy one of the brands that has been around forever. I am leaning toward Honda Pioneer 700. But would really like to have the Tracker which is much quieter. I believe the Kawasaki Mule Pro, John Deere XUV835, Tracker 800SX, and Artic Cat Prowler all use the same Chery 3 cylinder engine. I like my Mule Pro FXT as I use it for hunting and working around the farm but it certainly isn't tearing through the mud like my neighbors Cam Am Defender on 30's. I have a couple buddies who have Tracker 800's and they really like them. I thought my Mule was quiet until I was around their Trackers and they are noticeably quieter than the Mule. If I was needing something for a duck lease or a muddier hunting place I would choose a Can Am Defender but if you are just hunting/working on average land in Alabama then I believe the Mule or the Tracker are more than capable of doing what you want to do.

I have a great Polaris, bought used. If I got in the market for new - Kawasaki Mule no doubt. Drive a new ranger, you’ll change your mind

Drive a new ranger, you’ll change your mind I haven't personally used one but have two buddies who in the last year have bought new rangers. Both have since sold them and one got a CanAm the other got a mule. UTV's are the same as trucks. Everyone has their own personal preference and at the end of the day every brand has some type of issue.

I know a banker who says about 2/3 of the rangers he finances get sold within a year. 🤷🏼♂️ Probably for a profit Crazy to me someone would finance a toy like that. And yes I know everyone reading this probably disagrees with me I agree totally. I wanted one for a while but there wasnt a chance in hell I was buying on until I could write a check for it. Ridezilla Albany(formerly Powersports Plus Albany) was willing to make a deal for a cash customer even amidst Covid in spring of 22.

If it better to write check for a toy and not save for retirement or finance a toy and max out retirement? Is it better to make a distribution out of your retirement in your 60s to pay for one or finance without a distribution. My point it, finances are a customized deal. Not a one size fits all always.

Ive had a polaris rzr and now have a polaris general. No issues with either I have had more rangers and rzr’s than most folks ever will. I’ve only had 1 major issue and that’s on the ranger I own now. I knew the problem was going to happen and it did. Fixed it and kept moving. It’s odd to me how people have so many ussues.

Was your issue cause by the turf mode?

Luckily, I’ve never experienced either but I’ve witnessed both on multiple occasions.
