Figured since the other thread got railroaded by insurance claims, I'd start one here. I still say at least a cat 2+ at landfall, not in favor of a late west push anymore. Curious to see how it acts in the gulf tomorrow.

We will know more tomorrow. We just need her to get moving once she clears Cuba.

Slower, more west she tracks the stronger she'll get.

I'm headed to St. Marks this weekend after a high school football game in Daphne Friday night. We will see how this storm affects those plans. I hope it doesn't get bad for everyone thats in its path.

Just stay the hell away from Dauphin Island. We are supposed to head down this weekend.

If recent history of storms taking this general path is any indicator, this one will likely be a monster when it makes landfall. I hope not.

Latest reports I’ve seen are predicting cat 3 at landfall. That is a big shift from early this morning…not to mention a “human error” that occurred at Port of Tampa fueling so all the news stations are reporting fuel contamination. Even though it is limited to Tampa area, the headlines are saying widespread. I can only imagine what chaos that is causing. I hope for Floridians that neither is the case, but it seems to be “convenient” for this to occur with all eyes on Desantis.

Meanwhile, Franklin rapidly intensified to a 145 mph storm this morning.

I'm starting to question their landfall timing. Even with a modest acceleration. ????

I’m south of Tallahassee. Hope it keeps east and lands in the Big Bend.
On my way home I saw boats headed west and linemen headed east.

Grew up spending a lot of time in Steinhatchee. My grandparents lived on the water. Looks like a direct hit. 😢

I'm about an hour west of Tallahassee and we were pretty worried about this one and still keeping our eye on it because we haven't fully gotten over hurricane Michael and that was 5 years ago.

I’m just north of you watching closely. Got 4 houses slam full of chickens and supposed to sell next week. Praying it stays to the East.

I'm east of Tallahassee in Jefferson county. Ill look at it tomorrow and decide where to vacation at. I'm not doing a cat 3 or 4 after seeing what Michael did to my properties in Snead's and Gretna......
