Has anyone heard from Travis McGee? Last time I saw him he was in Cedar Key.

The keep pushing Major Hurricane, Cat 3 at landfall, but only a few models show it as a Cat 3.

Intensity model:

Landfall at this point is pretty certain based on all of the models coinciding. By certain = within ~50 miles.

I'm wondering why they keep pushing the Cat 3 nightmare most intense storm ever narrative too. Right now, if it does make it to Cat 3 it won't be for long. But, the Biden admin has already instructed the media to push the climate agenda. James O'Keefe caught them admitting as much.

A clean eye is emerging on the last few IR radar loop frames. I agree that they tend to overhype storms but I'm afraid they are right on this one. I just hope it is not more than cat 3. No matter what it does, it will be blamed on conservatives and man made climate change.

The gulf waters are very, very warm right now. Going to suck up a lot of energy from it.

That’s what I thought too. If it stays west before turning back east it won’t be good!

Yeah, hope they feel confident about that eastern turn b/c otherwise looks like it is coming right up our alley at the moment.

Right now they have a Hurricane Statement for Enterprise over to Dothan. If it wobbles too much over to the left then the corner of Alabama might get some of the storm.
I expect with each update its going to wiggle some left and right but still be within the 50 mile current forecast path.

Idalia has gotten her act together today. Looks like it's going to be rough for the big bend area.

It needs to drift East of that 85W longitude. I don't like that West drift.
