Even being sick right now, I still generated enough energy last night to grill these on the Kamado. Mrs. Irish did all the hard work.

Kafta Kebobs with ground lamb, ground beef, grated onion, fresh parsley, garlic, oregano, cumin, lemon, salt, pepper and cinnamon. Grilled on the grill. Served with Mrs.Irish's Taziki sauce with fresh grated cucumber (Squeezed and drained) garlic, dill, Greek yogurt, olive oil, salt and pepper. Jasmine rice with onion, and a Greek salad with feta and Mrs. Irish's homemade Greek dressing.

Those look good; Pita Stop in Birmingham makes an excellent Kafta meatball sandwich on pita bread.

Y'all sure do eat good.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

If you replicate this dish, don't do like we did. Instead of making meatballs, roll the meet into really fat hot dog shapes and then stick the skewer through them long ways.

The individual meatballs make it difficult to turn them on the grill, because each of the meatballs wants to rotate independently of each other and you can't get all of the meatballs to turn together as a team.

Pro-tip: double skewer the meatballs for no roll
