Hell if I wasn't working today I'd grab up the dog and head to town maybe go to home Depot or something. Obviously you dog haters just ain't never had a good dog that new how to act. I still say my dog acts better in public than y'all's kids. Guarantee she acts better than johny. She don't bark just for the sake of hearing herself bark.

What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

I bet you I could tame that biting dog of Joe Biden’s sometimes a dog is a lot better judge of character than us humans. If you don’t like dogs that’s your right and what makes us dog lovers mad is you thinking we need a dog as some kind of crutch. I am sure me and Fred and some of the others on here are pretty mentally stable a lot better than some of y’all. I still as soon set in a duck blind with Milo than anybody else but my kids. He has never been in a store or hotel in his life but we dang sure going to take us a road trip next week

I love this place. I'm with Johnny Loco, keep your dog at home or in certain places. No business in Lowe's and home Depot. Im a dog lover but only queers carry their dogs inside Lowe's and home Depot 🤣

I wouldn't own anything besides a German Shepherd because they are a tool at the end of the day. I don't want off brand tools, I want a quality tool.

What I hate more than anything is little dogs that bark at everything. Kick dogs.

Dogs in public doesn't bother me. Have seen some real pretty ones. I just choose to not take mine shopping.

And he knows if he's getting in the truck, we're going to the woods.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I agree that my dog has no business being taken inside a restaurant or a grocery store. I don't take her to those places and never will.

I do take Sadie, my OMC, with me, occasionally, to Tractor Supply, Lowes, Pet Supplies Plus, Home Depot, etc. She minds better than most folks kids I see in those places. I ain't a Karen nor am I queer.

I just enjoy spending time with my dog and she enjoys being with me. I have no doubt that there are three living beings, whom I know loves me. One is Jesus, two is my wife, Renee and three is my dog, Sadie.

She is a dog, not human, nor on the level of a human, but I'd rather be around her than many humans I've met. grin thumbup

See, you have the proper non humanizing attitude. A dog is a ā€œtoolā€ like a rifle or knife.

People take their dogs out in public for the same reason some go to nude beaches. Its about being scene and noticed by everyone else.

This and "separation anxiety". It's a thing with dogs but I guess it goes both ways in this new age and owners get it too!

And every nude beach I’ve stumbled across in the United States was full of people that shouldn’t be nude. To a large degree the same type of mental disorder with both naturists and the nudist perverse though and the same offenders too.

One of the biggest problems is the legitimate Support Animal (like for blind, deaf, other legit medical) vs. the "Emotional Support Animal" that some asshole claims and pays money online to get a "letter" saying Fluffy needs to be admitted into the restaurant, museum other other place of business.

The legit Support Animal, we have seen those. Right? It's someone who is blind, deaf, has a true and documented medical issue, perhaps also PTSD from service. These are real and legitimate situations. These dogs are trained extensively for that person.

And then you have the others who claim their "Emotional Support Animal" and have been online to pay to get a "letter of authorization." These are bogus, bullchit, nothing more than fake crap presented by Karens to business owners who are too chickenshit to know the real laws about Support Animals and tell the Karen to GTFO of the store or business.

Google "emotional support animal registration" and you'll find a bunch of these. They're like puppy mills for weak-willed Karens or Todds who fake their way along. Pay however many dollars, fill out a form with bullchit answers or tell some "doctor" your bullchit story, and they "approve" you. Many of them are "registry" sites and nothing more than scams. For anyone with true anxiety or emotional needs, they should seek a real doctor or therapist to help them and give advice about having the pet with them.

Business owners won't stand up for themselves, though. They're scared of blowback from the Karens and Todds, they don't want to put up with the hassle of saying no, and are part of the current nation of "just give in." It's the same with any dining establishment that considers itself upscale but doesn't enforce a dress code and has Jimmy Goober in torn jeans and a dirty cap sitting there eating. It's uncouth. Yet the business won't say anything for fear of blowback.

I get it Clem but I disagree with PTSD, TBI yes.

PTSD does not manifest itself (for the most part) like a Rambo movie except the part when Rambo bounces down to see his buddy and the behavior change when he finds out he is dead.

A dog is not gonna prevent the fake nuts that many claim. There is no switch that gets flipped during a PTSD episode where you find yourself in the combat zone except in a semi conscious state like being woke up or a traumatic event like being attacked.

Most people with PTSD simply withdraw. I hear more Karens and fruit loops slinging the term around and they aren’t even combat veterans. ā€œI got PTSD because he wouldn’t use my proper pronounsā€ rofl

If your dog threatens me I’ll take lethal action protect myself and those around me, same as if it was a person. I dont care how well your dog is trained they can go off in a second for no reason. We have had dogs so im no hater. The only dog I want to see inside a public place is a seeing eye dog the rest of them and their owners better take caution and be prepared to take responsibility.

I have a 55 lbs yellow lab and a 100 lbs golden retriever. Has nothing to do with this whole thread but apparently we are supposed to tell the weight of our dogs. They will both roll over and let you rub their bellies.
