I’ve seen a blue heeler put a 4 year grown man Rottweiler in the truck(weiler impeded his work). Wouldn’t a bull mean enough to make him quit working. It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog. You can send that healer to play with mine 😁

It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog. Seen it many times.give them 3-4 days together and see who is the boss.it all changes drastically $1000 says if your Rottweiler jumps on my wife’s 4 pound malshee, the Rottweiler loses. I raised pure German rotties for years, I also raised pits and curs for pig hunting. Not one of the rotties could handle the average cur and none of the pits. Rottweilers are great for bullying scared people and being loyal pets if properly handled that’s about it. Im old, slow and fat but I’ll take any dog 1 on 1 from 25 yards for a $1000 bet, bring all them bad dogs on and I’ll show you what they can’t do. Dogs are great on scared people or people running away, can’t do much with a few dogs coming at you but 1 on 1 I don’t care what breed or how trained I’ll break his confidence in 1 trip.

Every day he had a job and done it well. Would not sniff or even piss where another dog was. If he was out of the truck or the barn he was working. I’m not saying your dog is useless and I’m not saying “kid” dogs are useless, but if I own a dog it has a job or a purpose, usually hunting or cattle. I have even seen pits that worked and caught cattle really well, but they were used as a tool not a little man syndrome walk to town look at my dog that will tear your kid’s throat out dog. To each their own, we. All have opinions.

I spent a fair amount of time working and training some fine military and LE dogs and had no fear of the first one being sent to me That’s what bothers me about police dogs. If the peep decides to stand his ground and stab the dog the dog is done for. I know they’re putting stabbing vest in them now but still. They come at you from a known approach Gonna depend on the nerve of the perp really. At least form vids I’ve seen where a K9 gets killed.

One of the biggest problems is the legitimate Support Animal (like for blind, deaf, other legit medical) vs. the "Emotional Support Animal" that some asshole claims and pays money online to get a "letter" saying Fluffy needs to be admitted into the restaurant, museum other other place of business.
The legit Support Animal, we have seen those. Right? It's someone who is blind, deaf, has a true and documented medical issue, perhaps also PTSD from service. These are real and legitimate situations. These dogs are trained extensively for that person.
And then you have the others who claim their "Emotional Support Animal" and have been online to pay to get a "letter of authorization." These are bogus, bullchit, nothing more than fake crap presented by Karens to business owners who are too chickenshit to know the real laws about Support Animals and tell the Karen to GTFO of the store or business.
Google "emotional support animal registration" and you'll find a bunch of these. They're like puppy mills for weak-willed Karens or Todds who fake their way along. Pay however many dollars, fill out a form with bullchit answers or tell some "doctor" your bullchit story, and they "approve" you. Many of them are "registry" sites and nothing more than scams. For anyone with true anxiety or emotional needs, they should seek a real doctor or therapist to help them and give advice about having the pet with them.
Business owners won't stand up for themselves, though. They're scared of blowback from the Karens and Todds, they don't want to put up with the hassle of saying no, and are part of the current nation of "just give in." It's the same with any dining establishment that considers itself upscale but doesn't enforce a dress code and has Jimmy Goober in torn jeans and a dirty cap sitting there eating. It's uncouth. Yet the business won't say anything for fear of blowback.
There is a big difference in a service dog and a therapy dog. Service dogs are trained to assist the handicapped or sick, such as a seeing eye dog or a seizure protection dog. Therapy dogs usually just help people cope with PTSD. My daughter suffers from it, and her dog helps her cope with it. She has nightmares usually if her dog isn’t sleeping with her. Her dog isn’t trained other than the basic obedience and the few cute tricks I’ve taught it. She doesn’t take the dog with her anywhere though. But she did get it registered as a therapy dog so she didn’t have to pay a pet deposit at her apartment. I would love to train a dog to be a support dog and visit kids in the hospital. Kids that have been in there awhile, it makes a big difference when a pup comes in to visit them. The same in a retirement home.
