I noticed boats congregating off of Perdido Pass Tuesday at noon and then they all headed SSE. Looked like 15+ boats. Same shotgun start format as the MBGFC Labor Day event on Friday afternoon, except they all appeared to be headed SW.
Had to do some searching to figure out yesterday was the inaugural charter boat only billfish tournament. Weigh in is tonight at 6p at Zekes. Sounds like a fun concept and conditions looked decent. Anybody know any detail or where to check results? $1000 entry fee might make for a fun excuse to charter an overnight billfishing trip next year.
