If your trails are anything like mine there is constantly some limbs or trees down across my trails. Sometimes I can move with tractor or lifting or a saw. While a battery one might come in handy occasionally, there are plenty of times a gas powered chainsaw is necessary. Battery power has a place but gas powered will cover it all! So either buy new battery and gas one or just buy a gas one. With ~4k acres we always have trees down. All my yard equipment is the Kolbat 80v stuff. If I didnt have electric yard equipment, I would have had gas chainsaw. I do like that I can keep the saw in my mule during hunting season. It doesnt stink of gas, and much quieter to operate. No way the property could be managed without a gas chainsaws
