I've worked hard all week inspecting the largest power plant in America, and today is my Friday. So I texted some buddies to come over and share some whiskey and cigars, and tell some tales. We had a nice time and now Mrs. Irish is making us a Chili pie for dinner. Tomorrow and this weekend the weather is going to be beautiful and I'm meeting one of my buddies in North Carolina and we are going to ride the Smokies for a few days on our adventure bikes. Days like this and everyday of my life I thank God for the opportunity to be alive and share this wonderful world with everyone I meet... 👍 you da man. Good times with great friends. I need to be on that ride. I drug my son up to the Iron Horse campgrounds per your recommendation and we had a great time but he said he’s not riding (b*#ch) on the back again. He’s 18. I told him great so “when are you gonna get your own bike”?

My father use to say, “Appreciation is the shortest felt emotion.” Over the years I’ve thought a lot about that which in turn has help me be more appreciative of what God has and is doing in my life. Makes life a lot richer. I hope y’all have a great and safe trip riding through the Smokies.

👍thought of heading up to smokies this wknd myself to hopefully catch some elk bugling. Been up there hundreds of times but never when the elk are in rut

This time my buddy and I are staying at the Hemlock Inn and going to enjoy not only some great riding, but some great food. Hemlock has the best southern Inn food I have ever had. Love staying and eating there.

Many times we find ourselves reaching out to God when we need him because we are down or in trouble, but more and more in my life I find myself reaching out to him when things are good to make sure he knows that I am truly thankful for my family, my friends and all he has given me.

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Go to the visitors area on the road that crosses from Cherokee to Gatlinburg at the old farmstead on the Cherokee side. The last time I was there about 3wks ago I bet there were at least 40-50 of all sizes in that field.
