Lastly, if you get a chance to watch the replay, my son picked up on something other DCs are soon going to notice and start exploiting. Milroe could have easily stepped up and moved left into the developing pocket numerous times and bought time, but he never did and never does and always exits to his ball hand side (right). 100% of the time, without exception. If you know where he’s going, every time he runs, he’ll be a whole lot easier to contain.
Saw and said the same thing. Sports media has literally been talking about this exact trend since the loss to Texas on the radio shows, ESPN, podcasts, etc. Nothing new. I'm still just so surprised about how bad the officiating at Bama home games for the visitors. A loss is a loss and I'm not blaming it on officiating, but they let Dart get absolutely rocked multiple times--no wonder he didn't do well, probably couldn't see straight. But, good win for yall I guess. Congrats. Hotty Toddy. One thing I am happy about: I can't wait to hear all the Bammers jumping back on the wagon this week with claims of championship grandeur and "we're back!" when those same fans the last 2 weeks were saying that Saban's done, the O-line sucks, and claims of a losing season. It's like watching people with bi-polar disorder. I love it. Hotty Toddy P.S. someone needs to tell Saban his hair colorist sucks. It looked purple. We had 10 penalties at home against Texas; Horns had 4.

Somethings wrong with your TV because his hair didn't look purple. Bama's O'line had been terrible up until y'day and the center needs better touch on his snaps. Those were legit hit on the Qb by the way and the calls have not been in Bama's favor at the home games lol.

His rush stat would’ve been fine as it was, if he was smart enough to do what a good qb is supposed to do, which is toss that ball up in the stands and not take the 5-12 yard losses. On almost every loss he took, he had the opportunity to throw it away, reset for the next play, and avoid the loss entirely. I don’t remember any blindside or unseen hits, or him staying in the pocket and having it collapse on him, that were unavoidable. You and CNC are way more enamored with Milroe than I am. With as many bad decisions as he consistently makes, I just don’t think he has much in the way of “footballl smarts”. I was always told in sports that “one oh crap, wipes out 5 attaboys” and this is especially true at the QB position because it always involves the ball. A smart, accurate, game manager QB (he doesn’t even have to be exceptional, just passably decent) will win way more games for Bama, than Milroe’s legs will.

Milroy was not taught any football smarts but to just get by with his size and speed. I’m sure his coach only knew how to used his raw talents and nothing more. No developmental program and then he may not have the ability to go thru those reads fast enough.

B glad u got milro - he aint no tua yet - but he light years ahead of the other 2 - they flat out suck
On a seperate note - i did something today i almost never do - I went to see mom at nursing home as i do multiple times a month. This old dude always sits by front desk and he always in bama clothes - he cant hardly talk. I walked by the old guy and gav him a big roll tide - he got a huge smile and made a noise w emotion - i could decider the roll tide. It actually felt good cause he acted like it made his day. Sure made me feel good cause i think it helped him. I told the nurse - thats something i almost never do - but glad i did it here today 😀

Well at least nobody has to worry about an SEC Team winning a National Title this year! Did you watch mighty OSU against ND? PAC 12 teams always score a lot of points until they play a Defense with a pulse. Texas looked strong against Bama, but horrible against Wyoming. Georgia will be in the mix although they have not looked as impressive.

Bama won’t beat the piss out of anyone. Not enough firepower on that offense to beat people like they did in the past. D is solid and needs improvement, but they have potential on that side of the ball. The O, not so much

I can fully agree with this statement. If Bama ever does have to get into a horse race with someone, it is over. With the personnel they currently have on the field for offense, they simply will not be able to put the points on the board to keep up, or keep the defense off the field, when they need a break.
