Ole Miss’s QB was really very bad today. I’m sure his numbers weren’t terrible but he is not a good QB. Not today. No, he wasn't bad, his receivers had zero separation. The ole miss wr group is hurt / sucks. You give Dart some elite receiver talent and he would've torched Bama like Ewers did.

He made Milroe look good ![laugh laugh](/forum/images/graemlins/default/laugh.gif) Seriously his passes/touch were way off on some easy passes. And I say that with nothing but empathy, because my QB has struggled with the same issues haha

Either bamas secondary is the real deal or ole miss receivers blow. After the texas game, I'm leaning toward the latter. Good game bammers. Yall may not be dead just yet I think they had 2 guys out for the Texas game if I’m not mistaken. Those 2 are back playing now I believe. I know 1 was a safety. Not sure about the other one.

I’ve seen a miracle…. same line that gave up 10 sacks to USF high school, while the QB competition was happening, gets the QB they want on the field, and now seems to somewhat have figured out and learned how to pass block and establish a pocket (even though Milroe only uses it about 50% of the time) against SEC level defensive talent, in just one week. Amazing how that happens. Saban got bullied by his players and caved. I never thought I’d admit it but Burbank just might finally be correct in his long-standing prediction.
Bama got the win, RTR, but they’re probably losing 2 more. Milroe did have and make a really really nice throw for a TD with a defender in his face, when he did stay in the pocket and let the route develop. Also made another terrible decision on the pick in the end zone, wher he ignored the wide open WR and threw into double coverage in the end zone. Rest of his completions except for 2 or 3 out of 20 or so, were all first read, easy, uncontested throws. Kudos to Rees for simplifying the offense down to match his QB’s abilities. For all those fans of his running ability, he finished the day with 16 rushes for 28 yds. Mainly because he doesn’t know when to throw the ball away and reset for another play.
Lastly, if you get a chance to watch the replay, my son picked up on something other DCs are soon going to notice and start exploiting. Milroe could have easily stepped up and moved left into the developing pocket numerous times and bought time, but he never did and never does and always exits to his ball hand side (right). 100% of the time, without exception. If you know where he’s going, every time he runs, he’ll be a whole lot easier to contain.

Ole Miss really isnt a scale to use for the rest of the year for bama. Ole Miss is just a wanta be. Kiffin is all fluff, talk, twitter. I went to Buc-ee’s yesterday, it had a ton of Ole Miss fans headed to the game. You could hear “HOTTY TOTTY” yelling everywhere. They were wearing their “SIP” shirts. Yet, at the end of the day, they’re still the same ole, ole miss….

And lets not forget about the 2 bombs the texas qb threw and his receivers made 2 over their head basket catches in the endzone that you really cant defend in that game also....Bama's Defense is for real this yr....and you know what they say...defense wins championships... ![beers beers](/forum/images/graemlins/default/beer-1.gif)

Saw and said the same thing. Sports media has literally been talking about this exact trend since the loss to Texas on the radio shows, ESPN, podcasts, etc. Nothing new. I'm still just so surprised about how bad the officiating at Bama home games for the visitors. A loss is a loss and I'm not blaming it on officiating, but they let Dart get absolutely rocked multiple times--no wonder he didn't do well, probably couldn't see straight. But, good win for yall I guess. Congrats. Hotty Toddy. One thing I am happy about: I can't wait to hear all the Bammers jumping back on the wagon this week with claims of championship grandeur and "we're back!" when those same fans the last 2 weeks were saying that Saban's done, the O-line sucks, and claims of a losing season. It's like watching people with bi-polar disorder. I love it. Hotty Toddy P.S. someone needs to tell Saban his hair colorist sucks. It looked purple.
