Land someone on the moon on July 20, 1969?
Curious to know what the AL Deer Brethren thinks.
I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

As far as I am concerned we did. I had two people in my life that worked on that project. Very hard to believe we did not. Evidence we didn't always looks sketchy.

Look at it this way... If we didn't, then why didn't the Russians, masters of spying and disinformation that they are, call us out on it and keep trying to go there themselves? If the Russians can steal nuclear bomb technology from us they can figure out if we were lying to everyone about the moon shot.
So do I believe we went to the moon? Yes I do.
On the other hand...
I have a buddy that believes that the World is flat and is run by a secret Satanic cult (Child molesters, human sacrifice, etc...) and they fake all the space travel stuff including the moon landings. All of NASA is one big lie, and the reason that this Satanic Cult does this is because they don't want human beings to know they are a special creation of God. They want us all to believe in evolution, and believe that we are just one tiny speck flying through space and are totally insignificant and that we have to rely on ourselves to make it through life. Secular humanism is the religion of the Satan worshippers. But then again he's kind of a contrarian.

I've read the theories about it and the way the flag was standing out like it was flapping in the wind, but I still believe we did it. What's amazing to me is that we didn't care enough to go back. We actually went back several times. This seems to be a common myth that we only went one time... The Apollo 11 Moon landing in July 1969 was a huge feat of human endeavour, engineering and science. It was a moment that the world had been waiting for. Apollo 11 was followed by six further trips to the Moon, five of which landed successfully. 12 men walked on the lunar surface in total.

Why are we still asking this question?

Russia gave up after July 20 , 1969 . No one remembers second place. I reckon they turned their attention to making ICBMs and such . I believe the flag had rods in it or was a solid panel .

It hit me a little bit ago and I came here to correct my post before someone pointed my error out. Too late. Oh well...

I've never ever questioned it before. But if we landed on the moon first and Neil was the first, who was filming him set the flag? That's a legitimate question I'd like to know an answer to. It's ok if it was Janitor Joe and they just wanted to give credit to Neil, but someone was filming... who was it.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
