There is NO treated pine lumber that will last in a horizontal application unless it is treated with a sealer, stain or paint after giving it about a year to dry out good from the treatment chemical. Vertical applications will last longer without this.....but will last even longer if it is applied. YOUR Federal Gov't has changed the acceptable mix for the treatment potion.....lumber just won't last as long as it did 30,40,50 years ago. You just have to find someone that sells cca treated lumber. It's still out there.
