About 12 years ago when you could still buy a new one…i had some kin folk buy a few..they shot excellent…but i do mnow that 2 of them had limbs blow up…they could have been mistreated tho..they were rifle hunters who just wanted a bow…i shot them several times..they shot flawlessly and were very fine shooting bows..at the time..they seemed like good quality bows..i wouldnt be scared at all of one thats priced right. They were not super expensive bows back then..you could buy a new one for like $500-600 it seems like..i may be wrong..but i dont think the illusion was their flagship model at the time..i know they had quiet a few years of production it seems like. My cousin kilt several deer with one.
