If it’s as easy as printing more money, then why can’t the Ukrainian government just print more themselves. Let their inflation get out of hand…no opportunities for kickbacks that way. That’s the reality of the matter.

Its against US policy to allow any country that is used for money laundering to be in control of their own economy. That rule was established not long after WWII.

If everyone is making so much money why would they wanna stop? I'll give you a hint. The Russians are the only ones wanting a ceasefire. If the Russians wanted peace they could withdrawl tomorrow

Maybe they'll promise not to invade again for the third time. I'm sure they really mean it this time.

Thats the thing. More money will be going to Ukraine but it will not be with Congress saying "Money for Ukraine". It will now say "Money for military readiness" or something like that. Then the Pentagon will quietly send it to Ukraine.

The Russians don't care about a ceasefire.
You can questions the source of that article but it mostly quotes NBC, Gallup and Time.
There isn't much good news coming out of Ukraine.

Forbes: They are losing tanks at an alarming rate

Time: Zelensky is at odds with Ukraine Generals

Asiatimes: More of the Same

The World: Zelensky a little sketchy

IDK I would call losing 6 tanks in a week staggering loses. The Russians have lost a hundred tanks and 400-500 pieces of armor in the last couple of weeks. You can about set your watch to it, when the Russians start taking heavy losses. Peace talks articles start popping up.

Russia lost 50 tanks in one day

It isn't the loss of 6 tanks. It's the loss of 6 of their very best tanks that aren't easily replaced. Couple that with the loss of aircraft and manpower and Ukraine is in a bad spot. Ukraine doesn't have the manpower to keep this up.

Your source on that link is the one talking about peace talks.

I remember seeing we gave another 450 million to Ukraine on Friday.

Russia has counted on the fact that ukraine couldn’t sustain the same rate of human losses. Its just a number to the russians.

Don't worry, that's not real money, just numbers.

That's true, $125 million is the value of military equipment
The other $300 million isn't exactly money. It doesn't specifically list what it is though. Only

I do believe you have this figured out.

When I was in Canada, an interesting point was made by the locals. He said that there were a lot of Ukrainian young men in Canada and they keep coming. Thirs place had no industry other than farming for jobs.

Seems no thought was given to who paid for the military equipment. That would be us. Our govt has no money without us. It dont matter how you spin it, we still gave that money to them.

you do realize that military equipment has a shelf life. There's also a cost associated with storing/guarding, maintaining and de-milling equipment, don't you? Plus donating old equipment and replacing with modern munitions pumps money into civilian companies, through gov contracts plus sales to other countries?

Rebuilding Gaza into a nice livable place is also going to be expensive. But at least Israel is going to level the lot to make it easier to develop into a nice resort community.

It went exactly as planned.

Lockheed Martin, Northrop and the other war mongers didn't think it was a waste. They fattened their wallets. Just imagine how much of our tax money was skimmed off the top in each bundle we sent them from politicians and anyone else who is involved.

We sent the Taliban 160 million dollars.

Israel is the same way.

Imagine the USA keeping it's money within our border, securing our own border and minding our own business. We could have teachers getting paid well. Armed police in schools. Modern infrastructure, higher social security and anything else we wanted.

This guy is my write in candidate!
