Yeah, the redwood deck look seems to fade. It doesn't nothing to prolong the life of your deck or its duration to weather, insects, ect.
When I was younger I would rub my deck frequently with anything oil based. As I got older and wiser I now get someone else to do it.

Alright after running back to lowes to get more treatment I finally finished. A galling is supposed to cover 350 sq ft so I got 2 gallons for a 400 sq ft deck. I used a gallon and a half just on the hand rails. Took 4 gallons but it looks good and is done for a few years.

Now I can get back to watching the DNC. smile

You never want "galling" with your deck. A little lube will cure that problem.

But I also heard only treating the top of your deck can cause deck rot on the underside.
Not good.

Deck Blisters Suck!

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.
