Built a discada, also called a cowboy wok or disco... Started with this:  Welded a plug in the center:  Haven't built a good welding table so I use whatever I can to hold up the work, this spreader did just fine. Welded on the horseshoes for handles and started grinding off the coating (tough stuff!)  Started a seasoning burn, it's oiled completely I just need to start using it to get a rich patina over the entire surface. Thinking fajitas, philly cheese steaks, blackened fish, etc... 
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
