Well that flew by. It was a tough one for me. Two bad shots and a bunch a swirling wind days. Also fairly warm. Many moons ago I hunted exclusively with a bow but now tend to put it up for gun season and the addiction changes yet continues. Planning on hunting Corp land in west AL w shotgun this weekend. It’ll be new territory for me and haven’t used a shotgun in decades. Hoping for deer and pig. At any rate, hope y’all’s archery season was nice and hats off to those who will continue to go afield bow in hand for the rest of the season

I only made it out 3 times, and one of those times I had to leave early. Weird beginning of hunting season for me.

If I can get 1-2 deer with the rifle, I'll pick the bow back up. I enjoy it more.

I hunt a lot on WMA's and NWR's so my bow season goes all season

I only hunted once during the archery only portion of bow season. I killed an 11 pointer and haven’t been back. I may go back out before bow season goes out in February.

It’s not over. Leave the gun at home and take the bow. That’s what I’m doing.

I hunt between Union Springs and Midway going to try to do a little bow hunting this upcoming week have not had much on camera but just being in the woods is better than being at work. I am new to bow hunting and have not yet shot one and i am going to try to before picking up the gun.

It’s over? My new bow was just delivered today. Since opening day last year I have hunted with a longbow exclusively.

archery season doesn't end until February 10th especially when you are hunting public land.

Well those are good points. At end of day deer season is deer season.
