Gavin will beat Trump like he's not even in the Presidential Race. It won't be close.
The Democrats know this. Gavin is pretty sharp he's not a fumbling idiot like Biden even though his policies are the worst of the worst he actually really believes in them. He is a died in the wool crazy liberal. Trump is not going to hand his ass to him in a 2024 Presidential Debate like he would Biden.
Unfortunately I think that's the lay of the land. There is a very good chance Gavin will be our next President.

There is a very good chance Gavin will be our next President. Its damn near guaranteed. Everybody thought Hillary was guaranteed but along came Trump and solved that problem. The Dems figured the Covid mail-in voting media cheat scam and got Biden in barely. Now they have fine-tuned their skills. Plus, Gavin has been pre-approved by China and numerous corporate powers.

What I been saying quite a while , the Dems will pull the switch-a-roo with Newsome at the convention next Summer. There's only a couple weeks left to get on ballots in early states. Poor Kamala,

The Dems can wait until the last minute, even after the state primaries, to put whoever they want on the official final Presidential ballot. The DNC can literally go behind closed doors and select who they want on the final ballot. That is basically what they did to Bernie Sanders to keep him from pulling votes away from Hillary. They also did the same thing for Obama by making deals with the other candidates to get them to nicely drop out and support Obama to get the win. All they had to say to the other candidates was, take this deal and drop out and support Obama or we will not let you be on any ballot. RFK scares them because he already does not want a deal with the DNC so he may run Independent and pull some Newsom votes but it wont matter.
