No joke, I wish I could weigh her. I’m a very good estimator of weight and I’m calling her 200 without an ounce of hesitation. maybe a little north of that Matt

No joke, I wish I could weigh her. I’m a very good estimator of weight and I’m calling her 200 without an ounce of hesitation. maybe a little north of that Matt I don’t doubt it. I’ve put my hands on a bunch of 195-240 lb bucks and this doe is larger than some of them by a good bit, minus the neck.

Proud of you Matt you deserve that big girl. Seeing her I told my buddy “I told you so that heifer I seen was over 200lb.” I saw 12 this afternoon only 1 doe within range and a buck that was a small 7pt. I’m gonna regret passing that 10pt this am. Biggest I ever let walk but I know what’s there. Headed to same spot tomorrow- can’t not hunt a 180” deer

I've hunted Kansas since 2009. This year was by far the worst I've ever experienced.
Hell the midwest in general sucked for me. I spent 2 weeks hunting the midwest (Kansas and Missouri) and I never saw a shooter.

We saw 2 good bucks walking a fence row as we were driving out for lunch yesterday. Best one I would say was 145” 11pt with a big kicker off a G2. We tried to sneak in pop a decoy and rattle but they were tending a doe. I moved to a new spot on picked beans yesterday pm and saw 7 does, a 4pt, and a pretty young 8pt. Seeing deer ain’t a problem. Seeing shooter bucks ain’t a problem. Seeing a shooter on public land and getting him in bow range is a different thing. I have a strained quad and a sinus infection that is kicking my butt. Hell I’m wore out after 1 week. My standards are getting lower by the minute. I would love to see that 10pt I let walk again. Won’t be friendly to him again
