So y'all like hitting the brakes and then speeding back up constantly ? On the interstate I set it with plenty of distance and can drive a couple of hours and never have to hit the brakes , the gas or cruise settings, I'm a fan. I'm not one to tailgate though.

Just last week when traveling to East Tennessee, I set the cruise on 70 at Trussville on I59 and didn’t have to touch it until I got to Chattanooga. Love the adaptive cruise control with the distance and lane assist controls. I just rested my hands on the wheel because it was like the truck was driving itself. Very fine vehicle and fun to drive.

This past February my wife test drove every mid size 3 row suv made and preferred the palisade. I don’t think the grand highlander was out then. The Highlander she drove had a 3rd row seat but was so tight it was not functional. So far we have been pleased with the palisade.

BTW, I'm not advocating driving hands free , but it will steer you around a big , sweeping curve hands free . whistle

I know it’s not one of your choices, but my wife chose a 23 Acura MDX and loves it

We have a 2015 Highlander with the 3.5 V6. It’s impressive how strong and smooth riding it is. Ours has 87,000 miles 8 years in. Toyota has come a long way since the ‘78 Corolla.

I don’t care for the radar adaptive cruise control, but that’s a minor complaint.

I have a Palisade AWD - very smooth driving vehicle. Very roomy with 3rd row seat. Lots of acceleration, pulls a trailer well. Gets about 24.5MPG in Eco Mode.

The "feature" that bugs me is the engine shutting off at redlights and stop signs. They have that backwards , you should have to turn it on if you want it , not off if you don't.

Of those choices, Toyota. The Korean cars are not even in the same league.

Wife has a 2022, Bought it with 8000 miles because of it having the 3.5 v6. She loves it, 2dogs hers has a button on center console to cuttoff the engine shutting down at stop signs.

I'm pretty sure this is another government regulation intrusion.

We got a 24' Honda Pilot Elite a couple weeks ago, It has a button where you can turn off the engine shutoff. You also can also hold the brake halfway and it wont shutoff even if the switch is on.

toyota would be my #1 pick, Atlas 2nd. I absolutely would not touch a Hyundai or Kia with a ten foot pole.
