I don’t know about the black variation, but I damn sure have seen one on the Alabama river close to autaugaville. Wouldn’t matter to me if you believed me or not. I guess folks just want evidence and I can understand that.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if I get a bear pic one day.

There are plenty of bears in Alabama. That's a documented fact.

After reading all this, I now understand how the show “Finding Bigfoot” was able to have more than one episode.

I think I’m gonna tap into this market and create a show called “Alabama Wampus Cats”.
I figure we can get at least a couple seasons worth of episodes from this post alone.
If I can get Whildbill to be the host, it will be a gold mine.

I just believe what i saw. A big cat is not a mythical creature. Everyone believes there are big cats, just not here in Alabama. There are facts to back up big cats being in alabama. Like, for instance them being killed here as recent as the 40s and 50s. That was in some of yalls lifetime. Then theres the fact that big cats certainly live in tennessee and florida. And eitherof those states are within accepted range of several types of big cats. I have personally seen several pictures of big cats seen and killed in Alabama, but those dont count because you didnt see them or the proper authorities didnt deem them as being authentic. Theres way more evidence that there are big cats in alabama than there is that they arent here. By the way, what is the evidence that they arent here? Oh yeah, because you never saw one. Thats all thats left.

Here i was thinking this was still America where a man was free to believe in what he saw fit. Apparently not. Life is far too short to get so wound up over an interweb post and what somebody did or didn’t see. Now you got members bragging because they ran off other members? That’s real classy.

If jw77 said he saw a big cat, I believe him. May give him hell about it but I believe him. If WB or somebody else has seen a Sasquatch, so be it. I’ll believe them, give ‘em hell abt it too but that’s just my personality. I’m not here to judge, just wanna fellowship and shoot the bull with all you bastages. I’ve seen things I can’t explain but I rarely talk about those experiences…I’d rather talk about guns, knives, shooting chit, killing chit, & loving life.

Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving and if you’re hunting today or this weekend don’t forget to post some trophy pics for those of us who can’t make it. Doesn’t have to be a giant buck. Sunrises, sunsets, creeks, turkeys, etc all of God’s creation is worthy of a trophy pic.

(Especially big cats and ‘squatches)

Ive heard a couple people say theyve seen wolves. A member on here showed me a picture of what appeared to be a wolf coyote hybrid of some kind. Said there was someone near there who at one time had pet wolves, they got loose or was let go or something. It was much bigger that a coyote. If i remember correctly his son killed it

Yeah there are red wolves in alabama or were . I called Montgomery about seeing one near the dog track in macon county in mid 80s Guy said could be they had turned some loose near where the Tallapoosa and Coosa joins .
He wouldn't tell me where or when .

Actually, there are no pics being floated around of a cougar, no dead cat pics, no kill sites photographed and published etc.... A lot more to say they are not there than what says they are there. I'm not saying they're not there BUT, there's absolutely no proof been shown publically and verified.
I was just in Idaho, people say there are wolves there but I never saw one, I did see the aftermath of a kill site and a few sets of tracks. There's meat to the claim. We don't have wolves here where I'm at in Oregon but, a guy has a pack of wolf/dog crosses that roam around and sure get the wolf talk going. They're big ass dogs too.
