Yep. Cecil is our guy. He does almost all of our automotive work. Great dude.

Folks like Cecil are why we love Fort Payne so much since moving up here. It's just a good ol' country town with good ol' country people.

And don’t forget to add the Amigos in the mix at Fort Payne. 😁

Nice truck

We call everything north of the historic district "Little Mexico."

All the folks from south of the border have been very nice and well behaved since we've been up here.

Like I say, we have really fallen in love with the town and have some of the best friends a guy and gal could ever wish for.

No way I'd paint it. Knowing your post history, you've got a roaming eye for vehicles. Is this your new forever truck? Even still, naw no way I'd paint it. It's pretty cherry as is. Might as well drive it as is for 6 months or so & flip it when the next "got to have it" truck comes along.

You have a good point. I started adding up paint and body costs, lift kit, wheels and tires and I'll never get my money back out of it.

I am going to get Josh to fix the dent, buff it all out the best I can, order some factory matching paint premixed in a can online and do the best I can to blend it. I've done it before on other restoration projects. I'll fix the seat myself with the new factory seat cover that will be here today and throw on some slightly larger RWL all-terrain radials and call it a day.

It will be a nice driver then, but I won't cry if I scratch it up and if I decide to sell it I can still get my money back and someone will get a good deal on a nice truck.

That's the way I'd go, especially since you live on a dirt road.

I wouldn’t paint it either. Do a light buffing on it, put a set of 31x10.50 all terrains on the factory wheels and it’ll look great.
You should drive it up to the F100 Grand Nationals in Pigeon Forge, next May. We use that show as an excuse to go camping up there.
Been going to it several years, it’s a good time, if you like old trucks.

This right here.
Like I said earlier, all it needs is a gun rack in the back window.
Maybe add some mud tires on the rear.
