i honestly would be surprised if it was 3, but he needs 28 more wins to surpass Bear Bryant. So based on the current trends he would need 3 more years to surpass Bryant.

To surpass Joe Paterno he would need at least 10 more years (114 wins), and keep his coaches from playing with little boys in the showers.

So it's really hard to say. It's obviously not money that drives the guy, it's the challenge of coaching and winning games that drives him.

What would a guy like that do in "retirement"?

Car dealer?
Sports analyst?
Rub Miss Terry's feet in the king sized jacuzzi?

None of that would give him the woody that coaching football does.

I say there's a good chance he coaches until he can't coach (well) anymore, retires and dies the next year.

He's pretty healthy so that may be a long time.

Him and Belechik are going to retire at the same time on the same day in the same place. It will be like a weird wedding ceremony. They will walk together hand in hand down a long pier under a beautiful and romantic sunset and board a gigantic yacht together. Then they will sail away to wherever Elvis and Hitler live.

However long he lives, he is not a retirement guy. This guy is wired different, I had a total hip replacement at 53 and was out of work 4 weeks. Saban has the same thing and is back in the office the next day.

As long as he thinks he can compete for championships. If Georgia continues on their recent trajectory Saban probably hangs it up in the next couple years. If Saban can manage to get by them this week (Longshot in my opinion) he might coach several more years.

If saben was only gonna coach till he isn't competitive he would have quit Saturday, if he's only gonna coach till he knows he can't win championships any more he would have quit three years ago! I think he'll continue to run bammer down hill till there's nothing left, kinda like a bowden deal at fsu

If Saban said he’d drop everything and move to AU tomorrow as Head Coach if they would rename the stadium Sabanville and paint all the roads in town crimson, you’d be first in line with a paint brush and a bucket of red paint.

One of these posters above reminds me of Star Wars . They way they gave theirselves over to the dark side. That hate is strong there.

I don't think 10-11 years, but I would agree with 3-years.

The more you talk the dumber you sound. Your fandom is so strong its cutting off the oxygen to your brain. You keep saying dumb crap, you are wrong alot more than what is normal. Im gona help you. I learned something that really helped me a while back and im going to impart this knowlege to you. Just because a thought runs across your mind dont mean you have to let it out of your mouth.

Saban is still a great coach. NIL and the transfer portal has changed college football.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

He just bought the house in Jupiter FL but I don't see him just hanging out in FL with nothing much to do. I have said this for years, I could see him with an ESPN job.

Yep. Just about like the spread changed college football but Saban changed some things and rolled with it. Alabama is still one of the top teams and will be as long as hes there. Theyll find a way to explot this new way of doing things.

She will be in the first plane out of TTown for Jupiter.

I suspect 3-5 years. I had a college ref behind me at the game Saturday. He thinks it will be under 5 years.

He will go to ESPN and be damn good at that job.
