With thousands of trail cam and home security cams in Alabama there would be reliable photo or video proof of cougars. We have cats here and 99% of people havent seen one BUT, there’s proof. They are not dodging cameras like bigfoot. The cats dont sneak around, they own the place when they show up.

I haven't seen a mountain lion in Ala. I have seen a Florida panther in Fl. I had one cross in front of my truck at about 50 yds. This was in North Escambia Co. near Mc David creek on state rd. 99 about 30 years ago. I know 3 other people that have seen big long tailed cats in area around Luth Rd.

Housecat Kodiak, not even a big one, likely about 12lb or so.......Well, no. Thats definately a cougar, about 3/4 grown, i can tell that by the fact that it was taken in a place where cougars have been documented

Thats a housecat, of course. A 120lb housecat

Probably a black house cat. Don't know where you get this 120lb BS. As per usual there is never anything for a sense of scale in these videos. But the fact you are willing to instantly believe that animal weighs 120 lbs from that video doesn't boost my opinion of your animal identification skills. Besides that is Arizona not Alabama. Arizona borders Mexico and Mexico has jaguars which can be black. Alabama doesn't have jaguars and isn't anywhere near Mexico.

So, you dont have a roblem with me saying its a house cat, which it obviously isnt, but you do have a problem with me saying it weighed 120lb, which nobody on earth can prove it is or isnt? What would the teacher of the psychology class say about that?

Nope, you're definitely a liar. Florida panthers absolutely, positively DO NOT venture out of south Florida. Simply doesnt happen. North Escambia county is way to close to the AL line and everyone knows that the AL line is like an in ground electric fence for these cats and they will not be found within 200 miles of the AL line. Try again. beers

Negative, they are short-arming bigly. If they were long arming, the cat would look like a 500-600 pounder instead of the 85-100 pounder it actually appears to be at long range.

Plenty of footage of a polar bear. Nobody denies they exist elsewhere in the world. They do not exist here, in Alabama. If someone told you they saw a polar bear in Marengo Co, you could say with 99.9% certainty they are FOS. Is there a 00.1% chance someone let a pet get loose? Sure. But like this Arizona critter, they'd show up in pics, video, or splattered on a Buick soon.

My wife was wanting to get into breeding them. I read about them some. I was surprised when i saw how big they say they get. Ive seen a couple i thought would be quite a bit bigger. The housecat i posted a pic of weighs 16lbs. Ive seen some maine coons i thought would be 3x that big.

So, you dont have a roblem with me saying its a house cat,

I have a problem with saying it weights 120 lb when there is no way to ascertain that from that video. No way to know what that is since it's in Arizona and jaguars have occasionally been seen there. But since even a regularly colored jaguar sighting is rare in Arizona the odds of that being a wild black jaguar are incredibly low. If I had to guess, (and that's all anyone can do based on that poor video) I'll say it's a domestic animal of some type. And with nothing near it to gage size it could easily just be a house cat.

Watch the video. The professionals who live there say youre wrong. Maybe you should call them and enlighten them.

We had an orange tabby that was weighed at the vet office at 24lbs. He was huge and had cerebella hyperplasia which may have contributed to his size. I’ve posted pics of Henry on here before.
