I'm not Bourbon drinker or much of a drinker at all but my son in law is, he appreciates a really good Bourbon. I want to get him a bottle for Christmas but have no idea what to buy. Any ideas?

Four Roses Single Barrel is pretty good. My motorcycle travel buddy gave me an engraved bottle this year for Christmas and I don't want to drink it now...
Jefferson's Ocean is good too.
Neither of those will set you back $200, but both are kind of special.
In my opinion, and I drink a lot of bourbon, really pricey bourbons are mostly overrated. My buddies and I have done quite a few taste tests even testing $9,995 a bottle bourbons and going much past $50 or $60 a bottle and you are wasting your money. Seriously. When you get past that point, those are for collector guys that rarely even drink their stash.

I had some Clyde Mays bourbon Saturday night. It was good. Four Roses. Whistle Pig. Blanton’s is real good too.

I like Old Forester real well. Never had Buffalo Trace but I’ve heard it’s really good too.
