Check back in 3 or 4 years. Everybody was talking the same way about Dabo 3 -4 years ago. Meh.Time will tell.

Same career arc as Kirby the first few years. We'll see on Kirby. He definitely has everything (internal and external) to be successful for a LONG time at UGA. But, there are also some whispers about how long he actually wants to coach.

Dylan Raiola, the Rivals 100 #1 QB in 2024 class has flipped his commit from Georgia to Nebraska. Yeah but they also have the #7 QB in that class. One of them had to go eventually. And he went to Nebraska? Really? That should tell you something. Not sure what, but Nebraska is not exactly a destination for the #1 anything. He’s from GA. So that whole situation is weird. If he was really that good, don’t you think some alum business owner from a good team would have gotten the NIL money up to get him there?

He has moved every year in his high school career. He played in Texas as a sophomore, and Arizona as a junior. 2. His father played at Nebraska, before a 14 year career with the Detroit Lions....so, that should answer some questions.

Georgia is loosing recruits like Alabama does, they get poached with more money and promises of playing time. Wait until they start emptying Kirby's coaches every year like they do Alabama's. Yeah, Kirby has lost some, but not at the rate as Alabama, look at Dabo after he lost his big coordinators to head coaching positions.

Georgia is so talent rich, they have players that would start for most other teams but may never see serious playing time at UGA.

Concerning Dabo, he doesn't or very rarely uses the portal, doesn't like it. I'm not saying he is wrong but if he wants to keep winning he better get his hand in the cookie jar like everybody else. I would say it's easily his #1 problem being competative now days and it's self inflicted.

Kirby and dawgs will be fine, this happens everywhere. Kirby might not be at UGA next year…. Maybe Minnesota?

Whatever, however, he wants to get him. Guy can flat recruit and coach. Kirby would make Burbank forget about Freeze…..(BTW…it’s been two weeks and the shock wave you promised seems to have fizzled like a fart in the wind)

I think they'll be fine. If it was so bad, QB1 would have bolted for the NFL IMO Yep... How many times has Saban lost the rare game and everyone jumped on the bandwagon "Saban is Finished! He's lost it!" Well... He hasn't and I see no proof that Kirby has either. Now Dabo on the other hand... Ehhhh... Maybe so.

I think Dabo is more the rule than the exception. With a single exception, it's been the outstanding players that made the coaches, not the other way around. Jimbo's rep was made by Jamis Winston; Dabo and Sunshine, Bellechick and Brady. Auburn has their history of thinking coaches are outstanding after one season (Cam). Ed Orgeron inherited Borrow, and look how far he got without him. The coach's reputation has generally suffered more than the player's, in the rear view mirror. I'm not in any way putting down Kirby, but I want to see the verdict in another 3-4 years.
