I have been putting some money aside- want a .308 lever gun. From the looks of it, unless I inherit one I won't get it. The 4 or 5 places I looked every model was out of stock- most all calibers, no idea when available or simply no longer available. I guess the demand isn't there for anything except bolt guns... don't even find many semi autos for sale. NIL and 6.5 Creedmore's done ruined everything!

Savage 99 is available in 308. There’s several on GB with a wide variety of prices.

Winchester sure made a nice one back in the day if you can get one off gunbroker or another site.

Only thing I’d let my BLR 308 go for is a stainless model 7 in the same caliber and I don’t see that happening.

Ive been looking for the right BLR 30-06 for a long time now. Ive come across several great buys in 308 caliber. So, if you keep your eyes open you will find one.

GB has several. I have no experience with GB. Does it have to say "buy now" to just pay the listed price or is everything by bid?

Some are auctions that you have to be the high bidder and some have a buy it now price. If your willing to pay the buy it now price you can just buy it. I think you’ll have to create an account first.

Guess I shoulda clarified my original statement. I was referring to current manufacture. The Savage 99 and Winchester 88 are also great guns if you can find one you're willing to pay for
That Sako looks a lot like the 88

These might be a possibility for you. No personal experience with them... Henry Long Ranger![[Linked Image]](https://cdn.keenesdepot.io/assets/products/60215/H014S-308.jpg)

Ridge- I bought my dad that gun in 6.5 creed... he has a Browning BLR's in .308 and 300 WSM, wanted to get him something a little different. He really likes the Henry. Problem is I cannot find HLR in .308 in stock. I will keep trying but like the deals I see on GB for BLR in .308. Gonna be my Christmas resent to me.

Silly rabbits, a 30-30 is .308.
Buy a Rossi 95, scope it, choose your high tech ammo, and have a good life.
The BLR nor the Henry feel like a levergun to me.
Merry Christmas

Found a dealer with a BLR .308 pistol grip and we struck a price -having it shipped next week. Excited to get an optic on it and maybe get to hunt with it this year.
