Metabo is better. From my limited experience anyhow. That is all. I worked on our shooting house today. Cutting 1inch white oak boards, ripping some as well. Covering the inside of our new shooting house. First of all, white oak is a pretty hard wood. I was very surprised how good a job the metabo tools did. Battery powered circular saw and nailgun. I wore out before they did. The Metabo circular saw is better than Dewalt by far. Thats all the comparison i have. I am very pleased with my new Metabo tools. Im not running Dewalt down, i like my Dewalt tools but the Metabo saw is better.

Metabo is hitachi..or hitachi is metabo..they made a heck of a grinder I reckon hitachi changed their name to metabo. Ive had a hitachi drill for 10yrs i guess. The hitachi battery will fit the new Metabo tools. Im still using tge same two batteries that came with the hitachi drill. I have recently bought atwo Dewalt drills. The hitachi is just as good.

Every brand has a special tool they are known for..hitachi made the best miter saw..milwaukee had the best sawzaw…dewalt always used to have the best hammer drills..tho i think milwaukee is hard to beat now…dewalts impacts were another awsome tool that milwaukee has overtook…bosch has always made the best drimmel tools and jigsaw..i have the biggest jigsaw bosch makes and its the best ive ever owned…metabo ised to be known for their grinders…they still are i guess..but once they were as good as it gets for corded grinders…rigid makes good power tools but they are known for plumbing…they make the finest pipe wrenches you can get…so on an so forth…i got a truck full of milwaukee 18v fuel tools..they are awsome..my personal tools are dewalt…i use them all and they are all excellent have treated me well..some shine where others dont..but they get the job done an i dont skin my knuckles as bad

I think they all are pretty close as in dewalt, milwaukee, etc. I went with Dewalt where if I had it to do over I would have went with Milwaukee for the broader selection of tools. True on the comment about impacts I have the 1/2 high torque model but it wont hold a light to the Milwaukee side by side.

i'll take your word for it, assuming you swapped the saw blade back and forth to make the comparison with the same actual blade. oh yeah and assuming both saws are the same exact age. and the batteries both had the same age and use too right. Not the blade but i bought the dewalt right before i started this shooting house. The Metabo saw came with the nailer. Ive cut more at this point with the blade on the Metabo. I did say the experience was limited. I didnt mean t hurt your feelings. I had bought a cordless circular saw from walmart a couple years ago, the hyper tough. The dewalt and metabo are both much better than it. Not even the same ballpark. About all it did well was cut trim. Even on a new battery it struggled to get through a poplar 1x6. I had to take a couple extra batteries with me just to get through an hour of sawing.

Guess I'll have to throw my dozen or so DeWalt 20V tools away and get Metabo.

To be honest, if it had been me buying it, i would have bought the Dewalt nailgun. My wife andbest friend bought me the Metabo. He works at Lowes and got a deal on it somehow. Thats the only reason i even have the Metabo circular saw. Ive used both saws on the same project. The Metabo defintely outperformed the Dewalt. I gave an honest review. I hate that it rubbed some of yall the wrong way. Heck, i didnt say the Dewalt is the tool for democraps. But if you do decide to chunk your Dewalt tools, i need a batrery powered sawzall and i would try out one of those nailguns too.

Any of them beat what I, and most of us, grew up using to build stands and shooting houses. Handsaw, chainsaw and a 22ounce hammer. I’ve got dewalt and overall pleased. I’d like to see a the framing nailer have a higher capacity for nails, 3 inch nails it will only hold 1 strip of 25. 2 3/8 it will hold 2 strips.
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

Had to add nails about every other board. That was not ideal. It sure beat the heck out of trying to hammer nails through dry oak wood in a left handed corner. Im not much of a hammer swinger. The naingun is a gamechanger for me.

I don't have any cordless Metabo tools. We have a mix of Milwaukee and Dewalt between both businesses. What I have noticed most about Dewalt, is they make some really good cordless drills, and some homeowner grade cheaper drills. It all depends on which model number you get. Most of the Milwaukee stuff is more industrial. But both fail, at about the same rate for us.
Metabo corded grinders are great, but they've about priced themselves out of business. We're using more Dewalt grinders now. Their 6" rat tail grinder works great for us.
I can tell all of you this with certainty. You do not, in any way, want to buy a Makita corded angle grinder. They absolutely SUCK. You'll never wear one out, because you will pick up any other grinder that's in the shop to use it, over the Makita. They have a soft start, and a safety feature on the trigger that are horrible. If you move your hand and allow the paddle to even remotely disengage, the grinder has to come to a complete stop, before it will turn back on. I hate them.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
