Great buck and cool story. Any idea why the round failed? Not sure, I looked for it when I got down but all I found was my brass from the second shot. I’ll probably go try to find it tomorrow afternoon. I know it was a live round though because a zeroed the rifle last week dropping one round in at a time then opened it up, loaded it, and haven’t shot it since.
