So I'd like to ask for prayers from this group for Mrs. Bamaeyedoc. My love. My rock. My life.
She's been struggling mightily with what we thought was just a pinched nerve in her neck. The MRI last week showed some fairly significant cervical disc degenerations and protrusions. She has had severe pain and weakness in her left arm and has gotten little to no relief in about 2 weeks. God is already working on this as we were able to get an appointment yesterday with an interventional spine specialist at Andrews Clinic for today. We'll start there and hopefully some non-invasive options are available. If not, we will already be in a group with some amazing neurosurgeons. Unfortunately, the appointment was made like yesterday afternoon and I was unable to rearrange my schedule so quickly to be there with her for this appointment. We are praying for peace, wisdom, clarity of direction, and God's will. I know this is a praying bunch of folks, and we will need them. I'm off all next week as I usually take that week or the next off to hunt so I'll be available. If I have to take care of her all week, that was God's plan all along.
As a result of this issue, we had to make a decision about her Portland Landing hunt next week. I spoke to the biologist about the window to withdraw without penalty and he said we had 1 week prior to the hunt ro withdraw. So we had a decision to make. Based on her situation, we made the choice a couple of days ago to withdraw from her Portland hunt. She was so sad. Literally in tears. Not so much for herself (although she was truly very excited!) but more for me I think because she knew I was pumped to be there with her. But with everything going on with the pain she's in, weakness in her arm (she can barely hold up a mirror much less a rifle), and the fact she's missed over a week of work now, it just wasn't to be and I'm ok with that. I just want her to get better. We have alot of living to do, a lot of memories to make, and a lot of folks that love us so we're going to be just fine. We're claiming that in Jesus's name! As a result, somebody got a late Christmas present if they opted in as an alternate for that hunt.
Just please keep us in your prayers. This is most likely going to be a chronic issue and we're gonna need all the prayers folks can spare. Thanks you so much. I'll keep y'all posted.

God’s got this, as you two have already acknowledge. He’s going to honor your faithfulness to Him, for His glory.
Father God,
Thank You for prayer and hearing our pleas, thanksgivings, praises, and requests. Thank You for being called Your children, due to the blood of Christ, as our Saviour.
Honor our Brother’s and Sister’s requests.
Let Your peace that passes all understanding guard both of their hearts and minds in Christ. Give them assurance and comfort. May other Godly men and women be put in their lives to guide them in areas they are unfamiliar with, and may the Holy Spirit guide and direct all the health care personnel who oversee her treatments and personal consults.
Let everything fall smoothly into place, from appointments, decisions, treatments, and the right people to do each.
Let nothing of harm be done for her health, or anything out of Your will.
Thank You for already showing Your presence, and plans. May You be glorified, as You rightfully deserve.
For it is in the name of Jesus, our Redeemer, we ask and claim these things, Amen!
God Bless, David B.

Sent. I worked the folks at Andrews about my neck and spine. They will take good care of her. Ask for all options available.
