I have a Low Pro Livescope mount that mounts on existing holes in the TM. I didn't like the system they had to turn it so I just built a PVC handle that I can use. Works out pretty well. I fished for a long time with it just mounted to the TM shaft, that was okay until you spot lock.
I just got that mount, after using a PVC pole for 4 years. I like it so far, but as you said, I'm not a fan of the handle. I thought I would like it, but I don't. I ordered a 105 degree impact adapter and will attach a pvc handle to that. I like being able to turn the transducer without having to push or pull on a handle. They are well built in my opinion Appreciate the compliment. We had to have a come to Jesus one night down around Demopolis, but she's been good to me ever since!
