I agree with Marsh and Matt. I love tracking them. Fun. I like looking at the blood or knowing the shot wasn’t as good because I may have not pulled trigger right. Then I give them an hour to bleed out before going. If I’m not comfortable with blood I see or reaction from the shot then I’ll wait and see if my friend can bring his dog. So far this season 2 for 2 tracking them that weren’t DRT. Both times I found before dog arrived. I love folllowing a blood trail then losing and finding it again. Only thing I hate is the briars so I tend to be more careful with my breathing and trigger pull. I say that but there’s always the buck fever factor. rofl
