Hot hand toe warmers and good socks...I can stay out with noninsulated boots for a while

Didn't have no more toasty toes, so i done what's always worked! Taped few hand warmers on tops of boots 😁 Other than that i usually roll or spray (whichever i have) antiperspirant in my feet and toss on whatever socks. But figured with the wind n all and being exposed i was gonna take extra precaution 😄

Easy : for hands, military wool glove liners and Hot Hands. Feet , Buffalo wool /sheep wool blend socks and pack boots , the heavy ones like the Iditarod sled racers use.

Thirty years ago I bought a pair of "Mickey Mouse" army issue boots. They have an air valve in them to let air in and out. I can literally step over the top in frigid water and they will warm the water in them. Best pair of boots to keep your feet warm ever made. They are issued to military personnel stationed in Arctic situations. If you look at the boots the folks wear on Mountain Men, and other shows from Alaska, this is what they are wearing. They wear them because they work. The only drawback is they are very heavy. If you walk over half a mile in them you will know it.
I always have cold feet, even in the house, and these have never let me down.

Mickey Mouse boots for the win! This is also the only thing I have ever heard them called. There may be another name for them, if it is, I have never heard it.

-3 in Waterloo this morning . Gonna get out on 4 wheeler in bit . Only thing get cold is throttle finger . I do lot walking to keep warm . No special clothes . Just layer up

I wear a pair of nylon socks underneath a pair of hunting socks and I’m usually good. Strange thing is all I wear is lacross original Burley a size bigger than what I could wear. I had them on yesterday am and pm.

Like I mentioned earlier, if I'm moving I'm fine. Yesterdays scenario was I walked less than 100 yards from the gator to the shooting house sitting on a food plot with my wife. Boots were 400g Danner Elk Hunters barely laced and loose as possible. They are not a size too big though they are not at all tight either. Very thin liner socks and Hollow Alpaca socks with toasty toe warmers on bottom of sock. My feet did not sweat at all. My core and head were nice and toasty to the point I didn't completely zip my coat. About dark my toes got cold and my fingers were frozen after about 30 minutes on the binos watching deer and looking for bucks. Once I got home and went to feed calves I warmed up and felt fine. Admittedly I didn't have on the thickest of gloves, I'll look into the wool military glove liner like 2dogs mentioned. Fur may have a point, maybe I'll have my boots spray foamed since it seems to be all the rave in insulation now.

A lot of good suggestions in these posts. My $0.02…keep your feet dry and your core warm. If you wear a neck gaiter, stick a hot hand on the back of your neck (it’s amazing how this will warm your whole body including your feet). Also if you wear Muck style rubber boots, fold the tops down to let your feet breathe a little bit (noticed it looked like James did this in the picture he posted).
