Bama will be fine. Portal will open back up in the spring and then Bama will start filling holes and 2 deep spots with players from other teams. Portal is only open for these Bama transfers because of the 30 day rule. HC leaves once the new coach is hired, kids at that school get 30 days to relocate if they want to. If the portal was still open, you'd see Bama picking up a bunch of players as these leave. I'm betting that Deboer will end up cherry picking several of his best players from Washington and bringing them into the Bama lineup once the 30 day window is opened for them. This is the new college football. Portal and NIL will insure that stuff like this happens every year, from now until they put some rules in place to curb it.
