Woodduck, I don't know where in TN you are but we are close to the line so our mail goes through Fayettevill and we haven't been getting it for the last couple of days. I'll do without mail for a day or two because the way our mailbox is positioned a mail truck could very likely slide on ice and take it out. I'll wait. UPS, Doordash and Dominoes Pizza is still running though. Well, they were, maybe not now. live in Soddy daisy just north of Chattanooga

Have not received mail up here all week and our neighborhood and most areas have been drivable for last 2 days at least. Lots of folks up this way pissed. Is it just lazy workers now days taking advantage of a little inclement weather or is an order from higher up being given. I even talked to a 40 year postal worker last night that retired last year. He is pissed. Is this happening to you guys in north ala or just crap service in my local area ? I’m about 5 miles from you in Alabama and have got mail since Tuesday. Mom lives in your area hasn’t gotten a thing. Lazy

Truthfully, if the mail ran one time a week, that would be enough for me. Most of the important information we receive comes via email and texts. The mail is what I keep a check on to keep my monthly bills paid such as utilities. There is no way I would want my wife, daughter, or grandchildren out delivering mail with the road conditions what they are here. The mail can wait a few more days and we wont miss a thing-I guarantee it!

Both the USPS and UPS have started to not run a day or two a week here. Started in late summer. If my Amazon order says "delivery today before 9pm" that means I'm not getting the shipment because they aren't going to run the route that day. Only if it says "out for delivery" can I figure on actually getting the shipment.
