Unless its a relatively new tank it might be better to purchase new since re certification is so high. At least thats what I found when i wanted to use an older one we had. Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts,hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Who offers recertifications? Propane companies/suppliers and welding gas companies is what comes to mind.

It's hard to get one filled around Monroeville. Tractor Supply filled them for a little while and quit, The only other is Ikner's bait shop near Excel. I believe you mean 100 lb tank. 100 gal is much bigger than a 100 lb tank and can be filled from a LP delivery truck. I have a 100 gal , mounted on a steel pallet at my cabin.
