If you are going to use it be sure the service date has not expired. Unless its a relatively new tank it might be better to purchase new since re certification is so high. At least thats what I found when i wanted to use an older one we had.

Yeh, I was going to get some forklift tanks recertified a few years back. The certification cost almost as much as a brand new tank. Know the right people and it's free is my guess.

If you have to get a new one, Tractor supply has them A woman up here was looking for propane on a local Facebook page and got all excited when she found 100 gallon tanks at Tractor Supply for $80. I imagine she wasn't quite a happy when someone pointed out to her that those were empty and she would still have to find a propane dealer to fill it. Apparently, it is hard to find right now.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

It's hard to get one filled around Monroeville. Tractor Supply filled them for a little while and quit, The only other is Ikner's bait shop near Excel. That's why I stick with the smaller tanks so I can swap them in a lot of places.

Thatβs still a good price on 100 lb bottles

If you're having problems finding propane, check with U-Haul. They refill tanks at lots of their locations.

I believe you mean 100 lb tank. 100 gal is much bigger than a 100 lb tank and can be filled from a LP delivery truck. I have a 100 gal , mounted on a steel pallet at my cabin. However , if TSC has made a pricing mistake and it is indeed 100 gal , for $80 let me know , I'm headed your way!
