Smoking old CORN will cause hallucinations such as this. Bama can definitely improve tremendously this year with the new coach, now that half the o-line and the OC is gone. All they need to do is get a real QB under center and Milroe into the portal or out from behind center and playing RB, and a Natty and Heisman winner at Bama are almost a guaranteed lock. It's almost one of those "bet the farm" situations but with all the moving pieces, it's just not quite there yet. Stay tuned, I'll tell you when its officially time to break out your deed and toss it on the table. Big money. Big money!

Sorry about that. Under the new rules I guess that constitutes a "troll". In all seriousness, I do think they've assembled a very very good staff that is hungry to win and hungry to prove themselves. Whether or not they can negotiate the portal well enough to salvage the upcoming season and be in contention, will all depend on how the roster looks once spring ends. Recruits look great and will pay dividends in future years but there's a whole lot of growing and adjusting that you have to do in the jump from HS to big time D1 football, so production will be decent from them this coming fall, but not 100% what some might expect.

Lets just do this, lets talk about it next year. You say Bama is imploding, in other words theyre going to crap i guess. I say they stay just about the same as they have been for a decade and a half. To be specific 2 losses, give or take one. What is your loss prediction for an imploding team?

I think you're right on the money JW77. Somewhere between 9-3 and 11-1 is what I'm feeling. While I'm predicting, I say AU goes 6-6 of if they get lucky in a game or two, possibly 7-5 or 8-4. They will slowly rebuild, over the next few years, til they are back to being a solid team.

And to be fair, getting better for bama is winning that last game they lost in overtime. #1 is as good as you can get, right? Ill go out on a limb and say thats in the near future. That is certainly more realistic than a 50/50 season. I would be very surprised if they dont stay right up there with the top few teams every year, including next year

And Burbank and Au338mag, i sincerely hope Auburn turns it around, i just hope they always lose the last game in november.
