They moved 10:30 till now. I’ve had a bunch of does and yearlings on camera and saw 4 out the bathroom window.

Well - some areas could go further into February and be fine. Not saying I want that. But it’s strange to have a place where the season goes out, during the last stages of the primary rut. I’m guessing that doesn’t happen anywhere else in the country. It’s weird when you start season with pregnant does walking around, have bachelor groups of bucks to Christmas, and no chance of rut activity until the last 20 days of season, them bam - it’s over - while primary rut activity is ongoing.

There’s plenty of biological reasons to do it. It never should’ve been granted to begin with. Not a shred of evidence or data supported it. Heck, hunters didn’t support it then and the overwhelming majority don’t now, in areas where it’s not needed.

Daughter went this morning and ran 4 off the greenfield. I took the wife to Atlanta’s airport ( gone on business for 3 weeks).

Back on a green field with my wife for one last chance of getting her a good buck. Honestly my season has been kinda poor, haven't been able to go much and haven't seen many deer but such is life.

I don’t go after about January 10-15 every season. By that same logic, why don’t we just open it up 12 months. After all, you don’t have to go. 🤷🏼‍♂️
