Posted up on the edge of a hay field. Been seeing a bunch of big does in that left corner in the evenings and I’m planning on ending the season with a bang if they come out.

I guess everyone has their reasons for liking it or disliking it. I did not go after January 4 till last Tuesday. I had my reasons. I hunted the last 3 days and seen 15 at least. Never fired a shot only killed 2 dear all year. Some of you killed a bunch of does and that’s fine. I have large tracts that don’t get hunted much and the last 3 years has been phenomenal. I lease some land with some friends at the foot of crow mountain if you even could get them to populate better like they used to there is a farmer farms about 40 acres only. And he will kill everyone of them he can so there you go. Like I I say all land is different. I seen more in one good week than most see on the club all year on my farm

Just had a doe and a spike come streaking by in the bottom, I’ve seen them a few times this season and they are always skittish or running

Don’t blame them if they don’t move this evening been a nasty, warm day. Didn’t really want to get out myself but figured I’m here might as well go. At least I have a decent view for the last day.

Here. Youngest killed her first deer (nice buck) in this stand our first sit in Nov. Had her rub my hat for luck !

Sadie and I are sitting and watching but none so far.

I’m sitting watching for a big doe that doesn’t have twins or triplets. This afternoon doesn’t feel deery and besides lunch today haven’t had any daylight pics in several days.

Sitting here watching a 8, a 7 and a 6. 8 is pretty nice he’s run down. Someone shot high back on the little 6. Couple of does out too. Good last hunt!

Well rushed the shot on a big doe and may have pulled off.

Watched this big heifer stand in the sage and scan everything for about 20 mins before she finally stepped out. 214yds and only a minute or two left of legal light.

Went fishing and wore out high fence bass and crappie

Well I guess I hit where I shot. She was dead 70-80 yds the opposite way I thought she went. Stephen said what is that stump Riggs is on. 😂
