The extra point being kicked that low by an NFL kicker and be blocked is something that just doesn’t happen except on an extremely rare occasion. For it to happen in a Super Bowl is even rarer. It was the setup to allow the tie to happen and get into overtime. IMO there was no chance that the NFL was going to not allow the KC Chiefs to not Win the SB. Too much good publicity and money on the line to lose if the KC Chiefs did not win the SB. Just my worthless 2 cents. You might be right, I thought at the time it seemed kinda sketchy.
