Most of my neighbors don’t hunt and I really don’t care what they do as long as they don’t put a stand or a feeder next to our property line (they are all pretty cool and we don’t tell them what to do, but they all know that we hunt & they don’t tell us what to do either).

Letting the does walk and keeping the predators in check (yotes & bobcats) seems to be the secret sauce to improving the quality of bucks.

What if they did put up a stand or feeder next to the property line? It's their property to do as they like.

Not to mention at 200 acres you aren’t exactly some giant landowner that keeps far, far away from property lines. I am in a similar situation I’ve got 123 acres that is a long rectangle shape. It would be near impossible to stay away from property lines but all my stands are facing into my property and I keep this in mind every time I shoot. I’m not just giving up use of a large chunk of my property because it’s near the line!!

^^^

I leasing from a timber company and one of my best fields is 5 yards from the line - it was there when i got there - shoots parallel to the property line. I aint not planting it for my neighbor and i been in a ton of clubs with this type field. As long as they dont face the line - i dont see issue and most property i hav joined hav this type field over the years. Never pissed me off - its legal hunting

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self

Hallb- scout is right and I probably should have worded that previous post better. I’ve never had any issues with neighbors, but if I saw a stand facing back into their property and I’d have no issues with it.
