Different things are happening at different places. Deer populations are not down everywhere, turkey populations arent either. And its probably different reasons populations are down in the different places where they are. Cnc is probably right about his area. But anything he would guess about some place he hasnt been is just that, a guess I’ve toured 100’s of properties in 23 different counties not counting the ones I grew up hunting…..The principles of wildlife management are the same in every county…..the variables just change. If you go back and look, the principles was what this thread was about before it got derailed If the principles are the same in every county, then why did you have to ask the question in the first place? Was that a rhetorical question? If not, you haven't been a member long enough to know the answer. Stick around, you'll figure it out.
