Spiritually is there a difference?

The word Baptism comes from the Greek word Baptidzo which means immerse .

Some relative scripture, Mark 16 : 15-16, Eph1:7 , Rev 1:5, Acts 2:40, Col 2 11-12, Rom 6:4, Eph 4 : 4-6, Matt 28 : 19, Mark 16 : 15-16, Acts 2 :38, Acts 22 : 16, Acts 19 : 1-5

And yet, pouring is one of the oldest recorded methods of baptism. In fact, most religious scholars think that when JtB baptized Jesus, it was most likely through pouring, not complete literal immersion.

I’ve always wondered why Jesus didn’t keep JTB from dying the horrific death that he did. I know, I know it was all part of the greater plan but it has always been a mystery to me.
