The higher the better where i hunt. maybe 10-12 feet angling down. Also placing them almost on the ground angling up. The deer seem to pick mine out if i place it balls high. IMO I get more pics without the deer noticing the camera this way.
Other things being equal, it is the man who shoots with his heart in his bow that hits the mark.
