I like to cook pot roast about every couple of months. I have to cook two, for my dad and 5 of us, one won’t cut it. Browned two Chuck roasts in a cast iron skillet. Set aside and made a light rough with the dripping, olive oil, onion soup mix and a mushroom gravy mix. Sautéed the veggies just a minute or two and poured them all in a big roasting pan with the juice. Put the roasts on top, covered and cooked at 300 for 4.5 hours. Pretty dang good with some loaf bread and a dash of hot sauce. And yes that’s Broccoli in my pot roast too! I love it! https://imgur.com/a/e4PLULm
