Basically a guy had a landlocked 10 acre parcel inside of a huge timber/hunting operation. They fully high fenced him in. He sued and initially won but an appeals court found that the fence could stand.

LA High Fence

I'm sure it was a hot spot for deer, sitting in the middle of a 40,000 acre highly managed property. 10 acre owner stated under oath that he bought the property (from his family) because it was a deer "hotspot" and he and his family made annual trips to deer hunt the property and with the fence up, it had ruined the deer hunting and he could not effectively hunt deer with dogs on his 10 acres ("Atkins said it is impossible to hunt deer with dogs due to the fence). Big land owner's only mistake was not getting a survey before building the fence and also in putting the fence right on the line.
