I keep mine next to my points card from Chuckie Cheese. Because it's pretty much worthless. LA is the only State nearby that isn't constitutional carry and that's pretty much like visiting a landfill so I'm good. Place is a dump and one of the only geographical areas that would make someone proud to be from Mississippi. Just remember the laws on open carry differ for state to state . In place you can't carry open but you can carry with a ccw and concealed in those places

I believe this a state wide thing not a county by county thing on life time . Prices are the same as ever thing else . You just go through the county to get it Looks like you are right Frankie but it also looks like it is for retired veterans only. I resigned (I guess) after 4 years

I gotta check on that! I like having one at least for an additional form of ID and it certainly can’t hurt. I spend as much time in Mississippi as I do Alabama. Mine is up this year i believe.

The Mississippi law would kinda worry me if I went there a lot . It states. ,,,,,, If you are peacefully passing through you dont need a ccw. If you're staying a few days you're not just passing through . One asshole could cause you a lot of trouble . Open carry laws are ok but most want to carry concealed for that you gotta have that ccw

I have a Lifetime Permit they issue to honorably discharged Vets. And it was free. But I thought they only did the free Vet ones for a year at a time? At least that's what I was told a few years ago, so I just pay the $100 for a 5-year one so I don't have to go down to the sheriff's office every year to get my free Veteran one.

Mine says Non-Expiring for the expiration date. And did it all from my phone. Just had to send a pic of my driver's license, military ID, and DD214.
