Boeing just can't catch a break. Good thing nobody got hurt or killed. Dang tire came of a 777 and took out a bunch of empty parked cars (thank-goodness).
How much of these things are actually Boeing's fault or the plane owners and maintenance crews?

That's fully on United and their maintenance crews.

That particular plane has been in service for over 20 years.

Boeing has had their share of issues lately, but I see no way to blame this one on them.

Boeing had another one in Houston today. Gear failure on a 737 Max 8 during landing.. slid off the runway. https://twitter.com/CitizenFreePres/status/1766133400543646048

That almost certainly wasn't Boeing's fault. Most likely someone rigged the gear incorrectly.

Two landing gear failures in two days, one wheel, and one extension failure. That is all on the ground and maintenance crew.

Both United Airlines jets.

Something's up.
