Don't know if you other fellers have the problem of storms blowing your trash cans over or away , I do. Seems like big storms always come by on Tuesdays , garbage day for me. I also have a long driveway and like to leave mine at the end , near the road. I'm thinking of adding some qwik crete to the bottom of mine, adding weight low to keep it upright during high winds. I'm thinking bout putting several bolts through the bottom , sticking up inside and then doing a bag or two of qwik crete. The bolts are just insurance to keep the concrete from falling out when dumped . What y'all think? Anyone have a better idee? Assuming you’re talking about Boxes Cove in Jackson county, don’t the truck have one of those arms on it? Yes, but like putting it out last night , cause they run pretty early and high winds were forecast. I've had to chase it down several times and picked up strown garbage . Trying to solve a problem. Thought so. I know the one that comes through my place on the mountain above you has the arm. I’m wondering if you could build something it could sit in but would still allow the arm to lift it out of. I would think concrete in the bottom would bust it out eventually and they’d be charging you for another can.
